There is the whole 'MS diet' discussion, which, to me, represents a common-sense approach to eating regardless of the condition. Follow a largely Mediterranean diet that is high in fruits and vegetables, cook fresh meals where possible, and avoid highly processed and sugary foods. If memory serves, the average male requires approximately 2,700 calories per day.
That is all well and good, but when you're cycling 80 km (50 miles) a day—day after day—at the age of 55, having lived with MS for 32 years, and are not always able to control your diet as much as you would like while needing to keep riding, then things shift a little.
The first priority is ensuring you take in enough calories.
